About Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a tropical country famously dubbed a “Paradise Destination” for weddings.

Instead of winter and summer as seen in other regions, Costa Rica has a rainy season from May to November and a dry season from December to April. Temperature is more a matter of elevation than location with a mean of around 72°F (22°C) in the Central Valley, 82°F (28°C) on the Atlantic Coast and 89°F (32°C) on the Pacific Coast.

Costa Rica is divided into seven provinces: San Jose, Heredia, Cartago, Alajuela, Puntarenas, Limón, and Guanacaste. The capital is San Jose, located 3800 feet (1150 meters) above sea level with an average temperature of 68°F (20°C).

Costa Rica boasts an eclectic array of natural beauty and a rich cultural heritage. National Parks and reserves protect the best of our country, ensuring that our outstanding wildlife and wilderness areas are preserved.

Costa Rica’s beach and mountain destinations are equally breathtaking. Choose from a variety of options to make your fantasy wedding a reality.
